Today is a “sea” day. The sea was a bit rough last night so we didn’t sleep well. We ended getting up about 8:00 am and went up to the gym. It took some extra balance to hold onto the treadmills and even to walk down the halls! We hung out up by the pool and read until it was time to enter the slot machine tournament. Mike and I both qualified for the finals but didn’t win. We did however get Princess Players Club Hats! Mike went to take a nap and I played “Let it Ride” for the next 2 hours and won about $45.
It is one of our formal nights tonight so on go the tux and cocktail dress! We had a cocktail party at Mom and Dad’s Suite…..you could hear us from half way down the ship!
I forgot to mention our Waiters at the dining room….they are Will and Enzo. They are nice and funny. Enzo always has new tricks to show us every night and is always one to joke around. Will is a bit more serious but always eager to please. Dinner was good and the wine was even better! Since we eat at 8:15 pm. Every night it is always about 10:00 pm when we are finished. It is so late and we are usually so full that we can’t go to bed. So, we went to play “Let it Ride” where Mike got 2 straight flushes!
Mike, Mom and I sat there and played for about an hour or so and then went to our rooms. Tomorrow we are arriving in Akaroa. It is a stop to replace Christ Church where the earthquake demolished the city and now the ships aren’t going there. Such a bummer because I heard it was beautiful and we were looking forward to seeing it.
