Sunday, January 29th

Oh yeah….another Sea Day!  I finally crawl out of bed about 11:00 am after not sleeping most of the night.  Mike decides to take some medicine today too.  It takes everything I have to get up, get my contacts in and get dressed.  We go directly downstairs to smoother ground and I sit in the library again.  Today I can’t even read because it affects me so I just sit and listen to my iPod.
Mike comes to get me about 12:30 am because we have to go stand in line to get our passports stamped to enter Australia.  Stand?  What?  Really? That isn’t going to be fun.
After getting that done we wander over to the casino to join the slot tournament.  There are 4 of our group out of 6 who make the finals.  Mike, Mom, Linda Common, & Pam Yeary.  Linda wins $500!  Nicely done!  Now she gets to buy all of our tables a bottle of wine at dinner.  Thanks Linda!
Mike plays “Hold ‘em” again with Dad and wins another $300!  He’s on a roll.  I love it.  J    Now if I could just do well again that would be nice too.  After the tournament Mike and I go up to the 14th floor (Lido Deck) to find something I can eat.  I’m hungry but it makes me nervous as what I can put in my stomach.  I have some broth, bread, and mashed potatoes!  It goes down ok.
We go back down to the Atrium and play some cards.  I am so tired that we decide to try to nap in our room and that worked for about 2 hours.  We get up around 6:30 pm to get ready for dinner.  Tonight is Italian night and I don’t want to miss it.  We stopped by the cocktail party in Mom & Dad’s room briefly and saw many pods of Dolphins!  That was awesome to see.  Now I want to see the whales.  Maybe when we get close to Tasmania.  While at the cocktail party I find out that Alice, Hidako, and Jim all felt motion sickness too.  It seems like almost everyone has taken some kind of medicine.
I manage to eat some soup, a small amount of eggplant parmesan (appetizer) and a meatball with a couple bites of spaghetti.  All seems to be getting better.
We stopped by the casino, yet again, and of course Mike is doing well in poker.  I however should quit the gambling all together.  I decide to go to bed.  So I go to the room, take 2 Excedrin, and a sleeping pill and don’t get up until 9:00 am.  Who knows when Mike goes to bed!
